We are proud to announce that Extreme Networks is a recipient of Cigna’s Silver level Healthy Workforce Designation! This designation evaluates organizations based on the components of their wellness program, including leadership and culture, program foundations and execution, and whole-person health.

Organizations recognized with this designation set the standard of excellence for whole organization health and demonstrate commitment to fostering a sustainable, healthy work culture. Extreme was recognized in part because our leaders are actively engaged and supportive of our health and wellness initiatives, and our initiatives have been creatively woven into our DEI and employee resource group activities.

At Extreme, employee health and wellness are a top priority as we strive to create a culture and environment that supports employees and encourages a healthy work/life balance. We understand the critical role employee well-being plays in our success, as well as the relationship between a healthy, productive, satisfied workforce and positive business performance. This recognition showcases our commitment to creating a positive, healthy work culture.

Here are just a few ways our comprehensive health and wellness programs demonstrate Extreme’s commitment to creating a healthy work culture:

Healthcare – Competitive, comprehensive healthcare is a vital component of the benefits package our employees receive. We benchmark annually to ensure access to quality care and keep benefits in alignment with the current market.

Wellness – We provide tools and resources to support our employees’ mental, physical, emotional, social, and financial health. Onsite fitness centers, movement challenges, health talks, free counseling services, and Feel-Good Friday yoga, meditation and Qigong are just a few ways we promote balance and health during the work week.

DEI – We believe giving voice to diversity allows us to gain valuable perspectives that drive better decision making. Our framework is structured around career, culture, community, and commerce. Our employee resource groups (ERGs) present opportunities for employees of diverse backgrounds to practice leadership skills, gain greater visibility throughout the organization, and share personal experiences.

“As a consultive growth partner, Cigna knows that a healthy workforce is critical to business growth,” said Cindy Ryan, Cigna’s Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are honored to recognize organizations like Extreme Networks who share our commitment to workplace wellness. Creating a healthy work culture is of critical importance, and many employers are seeing increased employee engagement, productivity, and retention as a result of whole person health wellness initiatives.”
