Jan studied at the Leeds Metropolitan University and Hochschule Bremen from 1991 to 1995 to earn his BA in European Finance and Accounting.
This was followed by a year at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg – where Jan studied company organizational and personnel development.
After working a couple of years for a Human Resource consulting company, Jan joined Cabletron Systems in 1998 and was responsible for Service Sales in Germany.
Since then, Jan has worked in several service sales and internal sales management functions during his time at Enterasys and Extreme. Jan is currently VP of EMEA Services Sales at Extreme Networks and is based out of Germany. Jan and his team are responsible for successfully driving the Service Maintenance, Professional Services, and Subscription Renewal Business in the region.
