CHU Besançon Transforms Network Infrastructure with Extreme Networks and SPIE

Centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) de Besançon is a large hospital in the French region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The hospital embarked on a transformative project with Extreme Networks and SPIE to modernize its aging network infrastructure. The initiative aimed at enhancing performance, security, and operational continuity across its extensive LAN comprising 950 network devices and 10,000 IP addresses. Leveraging Extreme Networks' Fabric technology and automation capabilities, the project successfully established a robust, scalable, and secure network foundation, ensuring efficient and reliable healthcare services for the next decade.

What will change for IT managers is more flexibility. Our time to market to deliver infrastructure solutions will be improved. Within a project framework, we can respond to use cases for an application that would have a specific need. We will have the capacity to satisfy demand faster. We gain in efficiency.
